Results Interpretation
Results are reported on a g/100g (%) or mg/100g basis, therefore you can calculate based on serving size on your label.
To convert a mg/100g result to %, divide the result by 1,000, (converts mg to g per 100g).
i.e. result of 24.8 mg/100g = 0.248%

Unexpected Results
There are many reasons why analytical results may not align with expected values, particularly if your product is fortified.

Results Below the Limit
Results below the limit of quantitation (3-5x above LOD) i.e. Sodium (Na) <8.00 mg/100g is a statement that implies “0”.
Report as 0 on your label.
It represents the limitation of detection with respect to instrument signal and sample preparation and needs to be stated in this manner to allow for uncertainty below detection limits

No, we do not. You will need to enter the results into the format of your choosing.
How often should I repeat nutritional testing?
Nutritional testing should be repeated every time you modify an ingredient or recipe.
How should I prepare and ship my sample?
- Sample should represent real-world product as received by the end customer and/or be homogeneous with the batch it represents.
- Packaging should maintain sample integrity by preventing exchange with the atmosphere.
- Ship next day or 2nd day, avoid Saturdays and weekends.
- If you must send for Saturday delivery:
- Select Saturday delivery with priority service from the carrier.
- Contact us to alert us of the expected delivery, including the tracking number.
- If you must send for Saturday delivery:
- If your product is normally refrigerated, pack with cold packs.
- Non-refrigerated products can be shipped without cold packs.
- Please do not use Dry Ice and do not freeze samples
